They lied to you about being a Christian.

When you first "joined the club" they promised you'd be set free. But let's get honest, you're not free. In fact, you're religious, afraid, guilty, and bound. What's worse, now that you've been in the club a while, you're stuck pretending you're better than you are. And worse than that, you prefer the security and rules of your self-imposed boundaries.

It's time for a change. You need Scandalous Freedom.

On the Scandalous Freedom Podcast, Steve Brown disabuses you of your confusion about freedom, grace and forgiveness. Real Christianity calls us to live beyond the boundaries, bolstered by the assurance that we cannot fall beyond God's love. And real freedom…that's just plain scandalous.

Hi, Steve!

I have been enjoying your podcasts & now I find out that you have more of them! Yay!! The new Steve Brown Etc is as good as the original. AND, I use the advice you gave in classes at RTS frequently.

Ever since I have been listening to Key Life my life has had greater insight to freedom and every. I attended the Memphis semiar in 05 or 06 anyway I have found freedom from accusations from my own conscience, and blame for the dark side of the family (others Christians, hey they can be worse than the devil) ya,know? Love ya in Him, Randy

When talking to others about what freedom is there are odd comments. It seems Christians find it an impossiblity to consider that they sin everyday of their lives. Yet, God still loves them!!
Putting together the Christian freedom Jesus told us we have and
grasping the concept in Christian circles reveal a total misunderstanding of Christ death, burial and resurrection.

I have Steve's book, read it several years ago when I got a copy as a gift from calling into one of Steve's radio shows, (It was on Gay Marriage, and I was caller Estuardo). I hadn't listen to, or read much of Steve's stuff for sometime (or much of anybody elses, for that matter). It had been a horrible Christmas for my family, with my step mom passing away the day after Christmas, and then my father-in-law died three days later. The blessing in all of this is they both know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Anyways to move on from the rambling, I started listening to the podcast, listening to at least one a day, if not more, and was reminded again about what Jesus is still doing for me, in spite of my many sins, or my grief. New responsibilites have been placed in my lap, as well as having to 'beef up' more with the current ones, and knowing through it all that God is giving me His presence, and encouragement. I'm glad God uses a messed up, dented bucket like Steve, to remind me that God likes using messed up, dented buckets to do His deeds. God Bless, and keep my family in your prayers.
