The Power to Stop Pretending

Erik Guzman July 23rd, 2007

One of the greatest tragedies in the lives of Christians is that, in many cases, our most dishonest hour of the week is the hour we spend at church. We wear masks of unreality, superiority, negativity, and acceptability. Too often, we've been wearing masks so long, we don't even know our real selves (or one another).

You may think that if they really knew you, they would kick you out…so the best thing to do is to just keep on pretending. But that's a lie that will keep you bound to your masks instead of free in Christ.

Join Steve Brown for the Scandalous Freedom Podcast #13 and find out where to get the power to stop pretending.

Steve, you ought to sell that million dollar purple pen and then you could buy a new face. Not that you need one.
