When you do as many interviews as we do, a lot of great stuff ends up on the cutting room floor (more specifically, sitting on a hard drive). There's just not enough time to squeeze it all into the talk show. That's why you should subscribe to The Brown Sessions podcast. This feed is about the interview, the whole interview, and nothing but the interview.

Subscribe and get down with Brown. It's like how much more Brown could these interviews be? And the answer is none…none more Brown.

This interview with Renee should not to be missed. Powerful stuff. Zondervan is re-releasing Stumbling Toward Faith in around the the first of the year next year (Jan. 2008). This is a great interview to burn a copy of and pass off to anyone you know who has experienced abuse.

This is the new standard for The Brown Sessions. Powerful, deep, and authentic beyond comfort.

thank you guys so much. This is my favorite interview. I really respect and like Steve (and Erik and the whole staff). It was an honour to do this show! I was surprised how vulnerable I was able to be. (I think it was Steve)

This was a great interview. My life was so similar to Renee's. I was raised in a satanic cult with a mother and father both who sexually abused me in the name of Satan. There was also abuse from a priest who was involved in the cult my Father was in. So I had both Satanic and religious sexual abuse which too messed me up badly.
I am thankful for Renee's boldness in this interview. I too have a huge testimony of God interviening in my life where there should have been no way for that to happen.
Thankyou for putting a positive side to the stigmatism of this hidden shameful abuse. I too am beginning to tell my story and I pray it can be a help to others who have been where I am. I too have been putting a book together of my life story.
