Christian Vampires

Erik Guzman October 30th, 2007

"Since you are famous and all, tell me about Jesus."When famed gothic novelist, Anne Rice (best known for her Vampire Chronicles), returned to the faith of her childhood and dedicated her future work to Jesus, she subsequently published Christ the Lord, Out of Egypt and we quickly booked her as a guest on the show.

We also produced a comedy bit that took some shots at the fact that we booked her as a guest on the show.

This is that bit.

While not bad…it does suck. But, with Halloween upon us, you may be in the mood for something weird.

This was pretty funny, you should have included that washed up martial arts guy, Chuck Norris, after Mr. T. I heard the WhitehorseInn.Org interview with Rice.

Bummer she stood you guys up – at least I think that's what Erik said on one of the podcasts here.

I listened to an audiobook of CtLOoE on the drive up to Lake Watauga in July, and parts of it were pretty good. Dunno where I heard this clever aphorism about baptismal waters, but it was good to find they hadn't washed away her writing ability.

By golly, that WAS weird. Who writes this stuff?!

I loved it. It was sort of creepy but fun. Im sorry I dont live in an area that picks up the broadcast… I would love to hear the interview with Anne Rice. Did it ever happen?

How true, how true! LOL!

BTW, I used to love Rice as a horror writer, and I think its great that she is back in the fold of her youth.
