Turkeys at PETA

Erik Guzman November 20th, 2007

Eat me!Thanksgiving is almost here…that glorious day of the year that we set aside for family, friends, and expressing our gratitude to God for his many blessings.

And the food! I'm salivating just thinking about the turkey with all the fixings.

Then there's my favorite part, the leftovers. Mom's turkey soup and the turkey sandwiches. What a wonderful opportunity to test the limits of our digestive systems and tolerance for all things turkey.

Unless, of course, PETA has anything to say about it. They're going after Butterball and pressuring prosecutors to file animal cruelty charges against the company. Can you believe it? Well, not in my America! I cry FOWL!

These jokers are ruining all my fun…first betting on dogfighting and now this. Where will it stop?

Turkeys and Peta makes me think of the WKRP episode where they dropped the live turkeys out of the helicopter.

Gary Wigle November 26th, 2007

If I remember that WKRP episode right. The poor toms flew like rocks. Not a pretty sight.

But PETA is correct about one thing. We need to find a better way of killing our meat. As Christians we can do better, God demands it.

I miss WKRP. Good show.

I just came to this site after hearing about it on Key Life. Looked good until I folloowed the link to funnyorDie.com. I was appalled to say the least. On the very front page were clips about (supposedly) Tampax Tampons and Slyvestor Stallone's sex fantasy. I thought "sounds strange, but Steve Brown would not have what that sounds like on something he recommends." WOW, was I wrong.
There is no way I could recommed THIS site to any of my christian friends.
I am truly sorry to see this.

So Steve is responsible for what's on somebody else's website? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you'll find enough to object to right here.

I mean, we have links to YouTube on this site too. Does that mean Steve is responsible for approving all the content there?
