When you do as many interviews as we do, a lot of great stuff ends up on the cutting room floor (more specifically, sitting on a hard drive). There's just not enough time to squeeze it all into the talk show. That's why you should subscribe to The Brown Sessions podcast. This feed is about the interview, the whole interview, and nothing but the interview.

Subscribe and get down with Brown. It's like how much more Brown could these interviews be? And the answer is none…none more Brown.

Rick McKinley was on Steve Brown Etc. last week. He's the author of This Beautiful Mess: Practicing the Presence of the Kingdom of God, and a pastor in the Imago Dei Community in Portland. We talked to him for close to an hour about everything from the future of the Church in America to mission as spiritual formation to Advent Conspiracy.

Hey, I worked as a youth pastor for awhile on NE Killingsworth, then worked with adult drug and alcohol addicted men on MLK just south of Burnside. Man, what a great city. Best place I ever lived and most real ministry I've ever done. I miss it.
