I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, but you are forgetting that Sherwood's first movie was Flywheel, their second was Facing the Giants and Fireproof is their third movie.

I have a problem with the script.
The thing that convinced her to "forgive" him was not the dinner, or the flowers but the money. Come on.
What about her mistakes. I didn't hear her recognising her mistakes.
Is the script written by feminists?

Come on Dacian, you're missing the actual point. You didn't look very deep into the story. The reason that the money meant so much to her was the fact that he was going to buy what he wanted with it, a boat. In the end though he was willing to sacrifice what he wanted to give her something that she thought was important. That's why the money worked. Love is an action. The flowers, and the dinner didn't show that. The act of giving up the money did. He wasn't paying her off, he was giving away his desires to show her she was first and worth the most.
She had mistakes too, but the movie wasn't trying to tackle everything in two hours, but focus on specific issues- the fact that one person can make a difference in a marriage, put others before yourself, porn distroys relationships, and a life with God is a whole lot easier way to achieve the end result that they were after. This movie isn't perfect, but the Christian genre is getting better with every try, and this was a very good effort that produced an emotionally mature compelling movie.
