Etcetera – 10.01.08 – Lick the Screen

Erik Guzman October 2nd, 2008

Special thanks to me...bisque.Join us on this edition of Etcetera as we talk with Jamie Moffett, the director of the new documentary, The Ordinary Radicals.

Jamie and his crew traveled 11,000 miles across the United States following Shane Claiborne and a rag-tag group of ordinary radicals to document the stereotype-shattering face of Christianity in America. Their veggie powered journey took them from Philadelphia to the set of The Price is Right and points in-between. Use one of the options below to listen and hear all about it.

Here are some links that came up in this show…

- The Ordinary Radicals – Check out the trailer for the documentary, visit the blog and buy a copy of the DVD

- The Simple Way – Click, explore, be inspired

- The Brown Sessions archive – Listen to Steve Brown's interviews with folks like Shane Claiborne, Donald Miller, Anne Lamott, George Barna, and more

- The Merry Monk – Some of my personal experiences with the spiritual disciplines

- The Etcetera Facebook group

Facebooks rules, myspace drools.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm late for my 8th grade Math class. Mr. Smith is going give me a tardy slip again!

Hurk October 3rd, 2008

I wonder if George McFly has a page on facebook or myspace? Maybe he'll be my friend…

Chemical Erik October 3rd, 2008

I wonder if McFly and Sherman are friends.

Hey gramps! Oops, forgot to post the music link on that show. That was Brad Sucks. Go to BradSucks.net to get his stuff. It's as free as you want it to be!

Marcia October 9th, 2008

Lick the screen?!

Erik October 9th, 2008

Hey Marcia,

Yeah, it's something that came up toward the end of this particular podcast. Sometimes the show titles are forced upon me.

Peace.

Marcia October 9th, 2008

Don't be insulted, but I think I fell asleep by the end. I work nights, and sometimes I listen in the morning…..

Erik October 9th, 2008

Now it's a sleep aid too? Is there anything this podcast can't do? Glad we could be of service to you ; )
