Churched – Matthew Paul Turner on SBE
Erik Guzman November 14th, 2008
If you've responded to more than one altar call in your life, or if you're scared Jesus might come back while you're going to the bathroom, or if you have friends and family that drive you nuts with their religion, don't miss this edition of Steve Brown Etc. Use one of the options below to listen.

Matthew Paul Turner joined us on SBE this week to talk about growing up in a fundamentalist church and family where even contemporary Christian music was condemned as "of the devil." His new book, Churched: One Kid's Journey Toward God Despite a Holy Mess, is a funny and painful account of how his faith made it through alive.
Matthew is the author of a bunch of books including The Christian Culture Survival Guide and The Coffeehouse Gospel. He's a former editor of CCM and he blogs at MatthewPaulTurner.com.
