Professor Mattingly heads up GetReligion.org, a website that critiques the mainstream media's coverage of religion news. Terry's also the author of the book Pop Goes Religion: Faith in Popular Culture and he writes the nationally syndicated On Religion column for the Scripps Howard News Service in Washington, D.C.
