Etcetera – Mostly Dead

If anyone is still following this sporadic blog and podcast, you may have noticed that we didn't post a show for May. I have a simple explanation…we didn't do one.

My insane workload hasn't left time in the schedule for buffoonery. The podcast feed is still busted due to whatever Google did with FeedBurner. And on top of that, I'm tired. Put it all together, and it seems that Etcetera is mostly dead (has been for some time now).

But, mostly dead is slightly alive. I'm not ruling out doing a show down the road, but if things continue as they have, get ready to go through our clothes looking for loose change.

I've lost 25 pounds. The weight loss seems to have stopped, but I haven't put any back on.

I'm still doing well with the veganism, not drinking and working out 5 times a week. I'm gonna have to crank up the exercise routine or start watching portion size if I'm going to lose any more weight though.

I lost my pants in a Poker game with Biff. He then gave me a wedgie and made fun of my purple Calvin Klein underwear.

I started my healthy thing around the same time you did. Working out, eating better (but not vegan… yeesh). I lost the first 12lbs within three weeks… then the next 3 took two months. The last 5 have been another three months. All that to say, I'm feelin' ya on the plateau thing. I just changed up the routine though. More cardio. Less weight on the lifting, but more reps. Keep the faith, bro!

P.S. as long as they were the pants with the embarrassing holes in 'em you can keep 'em. Those pants may have been holey, but they got my church thinkin' I wasn't too holy!

Hey Erik, dude…just trying to get back in the Etcetera pipeline, only to see mostly dead. Hmphf. Livin' the nightmare up here in northern GA. Not really a nightmare, but kind of. Deliverance often comes to mind. So does spatula spanking. One of these days I'll actually mail YOUR Pumpkins Mellon Collie back to you. What the frack is up wit dat?
