Goulet! Cowbell! The (lost) children! Licking of eardrums! (Is that even safe?) Lots of thinky thoughts!

*group hug!*

From time to time there are subtle messages from God in Etcetera podcasts. Listen for synchronicity. I don't think me losing the children was an accident. I think it was an illustration of what happens in our lives. Sometimes we forget who we are…we lose the children in the winter snow. When the children are found, like flowers in the melting ice, then the party starts!

Matthew 19:13-14 "Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.'"

The Winner April 9th, 2010

Once again – I missed the stream – 4 post it notes, alarm on the phone, and written on my hand – still missed calling in. rrrrggghh.
BUT – I loved the show, I went through a similar awakening a couple years ago: God is not going to make me "someone else" , He is going to use ME, junk and all, and if I am waiting to fix the junk I will get nothing done. so I drag the junk with me!! God is doing his thing, and I hang out with Him, sooo …… I think it will all work out.
peace out, yo

Watching Theology April 10th, 2010

Dug the show. Now I'm wondering if ETC stands for something like Existential Trauma Center.

Matthew April 12th, 2010

@ The Winner — beautifully put.
@ Watching Theology — Ha, ha, ha… Yes. Yes it does.
@ everybody — thanks for listening and caring.

Darn my fingers, that should be "been a while"

Erik Guzman August 16th, 2010

@bertb Oh good! I thought you were propositioning me.

Erik Guzman August 19th, 2010

Hey bertb, I put up a written post. Also, visit TheMerryMonk.com for my latest audio. Sorry to say, I'm flying solo these days without the Spaz and Ninja. I'll at least try to duplicate posts over here when it works.
