Burnside Banter - Jordan Green on SBE

Erik Guzman April 16th, 2010

Now thats a cake!Burnside Writers Collective was founded by Jordan Green and Donald Miller to publish writing they enjoy reading. Turns out, they have good taste and we enjoy it too.

Join Jordan Green, Editor-In-Chief of Burnside Writers Collective, on Steve Brown Etc. this week as we talk about his work with Holy Bible: Mosaic, the 100 books every Christian should read, going to church with Alice Cooper and whatever else comes up. Think of it as an audio sampling of Burnside.

Also, check out the picture of that cake that The Merry Maid of Desserts made. Here's a link to the recipe. Don't hurt yourself!

Nice to hear Menomena. And check this great idea: interview that ugly woman!

I second Leon's suggestion. Alice Cooper interviews are always a blast, especially when he talks about his faith. He's very, very gregarious and has a neat testimony.

BTW, I've read bits of the Mosaic Bible. It's really neat, especially if you're into Church History

I third Leon's suggestion- I would LOVE to hear more than a 30 second clip of an interview with A.C. If you have to, get Erik to ghostwrite a book for him- that way A.C. will have something to push and Erik will be published. It's win-win!

Is there a link anywhere to the 100 books list?

Jordan Green April 27th, 2010

@brianD:

Our list is not public yet, but we're working on it!
