Ms. Jackson sounds like a very nice person. I don't think someone needs to have her experience to note that the problems of the human heart have been given greater opportunity to expression with the onset of technology. And the problem of of the human spirit in its mode to 'fight the good fight' – is much hadicapped by its capacity to hide its problems.

Asking for help is huge. Helping is an appropriate response. A church that cannot allow for both…is very common. And very miserable. But given that energy has to go somewhere…probably a very pretty church building filled with many 'qualified' ministers.

I never miss SBE – magnificent creative talk — This conversation with Anne is one of the more powerful of the lot – the format often limits the depth of the guest's visit — not this one. Well done Anne and well done team. Hope to get to see the tour.

thank you so much for your sharing. We are so challenged with so many things in this world and I can't agree more with Anne about the fact that we (the church) are just not willing to love on people to hear it. Look forward to getting the book and hope to apply these 'simple' Christ-like principles to my own leadership at both the youth and adult levels!

GREAT show, guys! I especially thought Zack's observation that for the teenage boys in his youth ministry, confessing a struggle with porn is a rite of passage was hilarious. I'm about a year older than Anne, and I can definitely say that for gals in our generation, struggles with porn are a lot more common than folks would expect. At least that's what my female friends have told me.

Yep, awesome interview :)

Thank you!! Yes I soooo wish Christians would allow for more open communication. To be honest….what a concept. I was asked to leave my church when the pastor found out I was gay. That was a few yrs ago. Lost a job at a Christian radio station for the same…..just recently, a pastor who is a friend of mine, when asked if I could attend his church….he just said he wasn't sure. He didn't want me to get hurt again by rejection. I don't wear a homosexual sign or anything! It is still a mess out there….thanks Anne for making a difference.
