Greensboro Grub – Charlie & Ruth Jones on SBE
Erik Guzman May 6th, 2011
"A certain man gave a great supper and invited many." – Luke 14:16
Jesus probably wasn't talking about Charlie Jones in the parable of the great supper, but he could have been. Join us on this edition of Steve Brown Etc. as we talk with Charlie and Ruth Jones about their Greensboro Grub and their peculiar plans for the future.

Charlie and Ruth occupy the entire second floor of what used to be the Craven Hotel in Greensboro, North Carolina. Once a month they open their home to 40-50 people from all walks of life, set up a 40-foot long table down their 71-foot hallway, and they cook up a feast. Their goal is to love lavishly. It's a simple idea that's transforming a community by giving people a taste of heaven on earth.
Go to PeculiarPeople.com to get pictures of the Greensboro Grub and find out more about Charlie and Ruth's touring theater company, Peculiar People. Also, visit TheMerryMonk.com to read about my experience at the Grub.
