Who Is My Neighbor? – Wayne Gordon on SBE
Erik Guzman May 13th, 2011
Somewhere in the Bible we're told, "love your neighbor as yourself." If your next door neighbor drives you nuts like mine does, you may be tempted to ask, "Well…what exactly does the Bible mean by 'neighbor?'" (Let's hope it's metaphorical.)
Join Wayne Gordon on Steve Brown Etc. as he gives us a lesson on neighbors, learned from a man left for dead.
In 1975, Wayne Gordon moved to one of the poorest neighborhoods in America. His goal? Be a good neighbor. He's been there ever since, making a difference you wouldn't believe. Seriously, Wayne just might be able to get to heaven without grace.
Listen as we talk with Wayne about his work on Chicago's West Side and his book Who Is My Neighbor?: Lessons Learned From a Man Left for Dead.
