I've only been in Walmart once. It was in the fall of 1984, and Karen is wrong.

I DID see what I considered to be child abuse there and called the mother out on it and threatened to notify police.

I might have done so if I'd lived in that town so that I could follow up but was just passing through with a relative who insisted upon stopping there.

There are many reasons I don't shop at Walmart such as I don't agree with their business practices but this incident didn't make me feel any better about the chain.

I've thought of that child many times and hope she's a better adult than her mother was.
