Who Do You Think You Are? – Mark Driscoll on SBE

Erik Guzman March 15th, 2013

Who do you think you are? Are you your job, your religion, your family, your stuff?

Many cobble together an identity and get by. Some suffocate under identities forced on them. Some have their identities stolen. Some of us are who we believe we are.

Melanie Magee, Don't give up so easy on Mark based on other people's reviews of his "sex/marriage book". You should read that book and make your own review. I find it right on. I've been married 22 years. That book is filled with marriage saving/Biblical advice.

Wow indeed The books that Pastor Mark writes on have sound doctrine. I believe he would even tell you, as you read go back to Scripture to judge them, and as one of his many saying, this to be very true, do not try to be more holy God! The Bible as always is very timely for our lives, it speaks frankly of our sin and all of its manifestations. Mark is not afraid to tackle these topics in Scripture as they are profitable for all of us (2 Timothy 3:16). To disrespect someone is not necessarily a bad thing I would reserve that for teachers who coward away from difficult topics, there maybe a deeper problem in them!
