Paris Hilton on SBE

Matthew June 12th, 2007

You know that a prophet is never regarded on his own podcast, but BEHOLD! The words of the Comedy Prophets have been fulfilled again.

Yes, Paris' first stay at the Hoosegow Hilton was shorter than a celebrity revolving-door rehab visit. And yet, it was enough time for a change of heart, and we called it the Friday before it happened.

You know, for being a bad actress, this girl sure can create a lot of drama.

The Postmodern Anthem

Erik Guzman June 5th, 2007

Hey kids, we're postmodern. Or wait, maybe we're post-postmodern. Anyway, it doesn't really matter.

Here's the point, modernity sucked. It was too much work. Who needs all that absolute truth? It just complicates things. Postmodernity is simply way more…whatever.

This song expresses the heart and soul of what it means (if anything) to be postmodern. Think of it as a manifesto. Click below and sing along with The Postmodern Anthem. Or don't. I don't r … (Read More)

Illegal Immigrant Comedy

Matthew May 29th, 2007

It now appears that most of our politicians– donkeys and elephants alike– are selling us down the rio when it comes to illegal immigration.

So hey, why fight it? From now on, I'm outsourcing all my comedy writing to illegal alien workers. It's not a bad gig for them, really. Two dollars an hour to work indoors, plus no heavy lifting. That's what attracted me to the job.

So enjoy this week's Comedy Bits and Pieces download. I have a feeling you won't notice an … (Read More)

Wilt's Kids

Matthew May 22nd, 2007

With the NBA Playoffs underway, what better time than now to look back on one of the game's greatest players, Wilt Chamberlain?

Chamberlain scored more than any player in NBA history. And his work on the basketball court wasn't too shabby, either.

Wilt the Stilt died on October 12, 1999; we created and aired this bit the day after. Why? Because when it's go time, we're ready. And yet, as much as we love this comedy bit– and all of them really– once it's produ … (Read More)

The Reincarnation of Gandhi Emerges

Matthew May 15th, 2007

If you think Baskin Robbins has a lot of varieties, take a look at modern Christendom… thirty-one flavors and then some. The latest: the Emergent Church.

Now I am all for unity in the body, but I have to be honest; listening to Emergent-speak is like a shell game where they keep trying to hide Jesus.

Luckily, our in-house mystic, The Reincarnation of Gandhi, happens to be an expert in both religion and BS.

Nuns With Guns

Matthew May 9th, 2007

This summer, don't spend your hard-earned money on losers like Spiderman 3, Shrek the Third, and (deep breath) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Now there's a new game in town, the genre-bending action spectacular Nuns With Guns.

See, people have clamored for "Christian" films (excuse me, I just threw up a little) for years, but we created this trailer back in April 2000. That's right, kids: It's a Comedy Bits "N Pieces deep cut.

If you have a Pa … (Read More)
