Erik, Matt, Sharon, Mark, Nino, Chon Lee and a host of others (in addition to our esteemed host) make Steve Brown Etc. possible. When Steve isn't around, we are just Etcetera. Come hang out with us.

We do a show that streams live monthly. Check the page or subscribe to the RSS feed for recording dates and times. Each show hits the page as a podcast the day after recording.

Erik June 3rd, 2009

Watching Wipeout with the wife and kids is one of life's little joys that make it all worthwhile. Check out my favorite new obstacle…HURDLES!

Etcetera - Mostly Dead

Erik June 2nd, 2009

mostlydead.jpgIf anyone is still following this sporadic blog and podcast, you may have noticed that we didn't post a show for May. I have a simple explanation…we didn't do one.

My insane workload hasn't left time in the schedule for buffoonery. The podcast feed is still busted due to whatever Google did with FeedBurner. And on top of that, I'm tired. Put it all together, and it seems that Etcetera is mostly dead (has been for some time now).

But, mostly dead is slightly alive. I'm not ruling out doing a show down the road, but if things continue as they have, get ready to go through our clothes looking for loose change.

For those that have stuck with Etcetera through the years, your friendship means the world to me. Stay in touch and keep your subscription to this RSS feed. Any future shows will be announced and posted here.

God bless the Hell out of you.

Etcetera - 04.2009 - May Cause Drowsiness

Erik April 30th, 2009

Don't let the title of this show fool you. Sharon, Matt, John and I had a rip-roaring good time. But, if you plan on listening all the way through, beware of my "revelation" at the end of the program. It could knock you out quicker than the swine flu. For your own safety, don't listen while operating heavy machinery.

Etcetera - 03.2009 - Better Late Than Never?

Erik March 31st, 2009

We recorded this month's edition of Etcetera last week…just now getting a chance to post. I'd like to say, "Better late than never," but when it comes to Etcetera, I'm not sure if that's true.

Join us as we talk about demons, snakes, Watchmen, good drugs and whatever else came up. I can't remember.

electric stimulus to face - test 4 ( Daito Manabe's friends )

Erik March 18th, 2009

Another 3 minutes and 43 seconds spent mildly entertained by Mother Internet. This video's actually pretty cool. Thought I'd share. Imagine an entire club full of people hooked up to electrodes all over their bodies, all being tweaked in sync to the music. I'd go.

Penn Says: A Gift of a Bible

Erik March 12th, 2009

I've been a fan of Penn & Teller ever since being introduced to them on Saturday Night Live. The bit where they and the camera were upside-down, but the viewer didn't know that until the end was awesome. (I looked for a video to post but couldn't find it.) Anyway, these guys are brilliant and do some of the most creative (and gross) magic I've ever seen. Love it.
