"Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis." -Jack Handey, "Deep Thoughts," Saturday Night Live

Maybe laughter isn't the best medicine, but it's close. This is where you'll find many of the comedy bits aired on Steve Brown Etc. They're great for when you need a pick-me-up. Pass them around. Your friends will thank you and your enemies might just loosen up and be less of a pain.

SBE Comedy Classics - Odd for God Ministries and Outfitters

Erik Guzman June 24th, 2008

Alan taking a look back at an old comedy bit. There are deep cuts and then there's this nugget that we scraped up from the bottom of our comedy cache.

Alan Wilson from Northern Ireland contacted me via the SBE Facebook group, wanting to take a pratfall down memory lane with this classic* SBE bit about "cutting edge" ministry efforts.

Well, far be it from me to deny a faithful listener his request (or to take a wee bit o' pride in letting you know we have listeners in Northern Ireland). Here's to you, Alan! Use one of the options below to listen.

*Note: "Classic" in this context simply means "old."

Howdy
About "Amway Salesman" I am not involved in Amway but, did you know that the founders and their families are billonaires?
They tithe. What is 10% of a billion dollars.
Away folks do not go door to door as the doorbell in your clip suggests.
Just wanted you to know!
