Etcetera - 05.27.08 - The Resistance is Futile
Erik Guzman May 28th, 2008
Join me, Sharon and Hurk for a rockin' good time as we discuss the "3,000 member nationwide Christian group" that's calling for a boycott of Starbucks because of their new/old logo.
Mark Dice of The Resistance says the image is, "…extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves Slutbucks." Which begs the question…"Mark who of the what?" Use one of the options below to listen.
Here are some links that came up in this show…
- The Star Tribune article on the Starbucks "boycott"
- Mini-Me at the original Starbucks (along w/ other pics from his trip to Seattle)
Also, thanks to Jonathan Coulton for providing music for today's show.
