Love Is In The Air

Erik February 20th, 2008

"I just tooted."Don't miss this edition of [ping]. We have some big news for you. I'm so happy, I can barely keep from typing the announcement here; but, being the Lenten paragon of discipline that I am, I'm exercising tremendous self control. You'll just have to listen.

If you do, you won't be sorry. Beyond the big news, Sharon, Jordo, Grandpa Dan, Chemical Erik and I had a great time hanging out. Use one of the links below to join us.

And oh yeah, a big thanks to Band Marino and Bill Mallonee for letting us use their music on the podcast. Visit their pages and buy their stuff. You won't be sorry about that either.

I have failed and spent 30 seconds looking at mindless entertainment thanks to this article:

Hey, isn't Florida flat? There some hills in Indiana, she's right, though, green's not as intense in Spring/Summer as it is in the South. My wife's family's got a farm about a hundred miles from Indy. We visit there all the time. It gets frickin' cold there.

Sweet corn from Indiana is better than dessert.

Congratulations, Sharon!

congratulations sharon! i'm SO GLAD you've found someone with whom you can enjoy life!
as for the nerdiverse stuff, i'm sad i still have not had a chance to challenge the Master… a pox on chun lee! have at thee!

"Geoduck" Joe February 21st, 2008

I don't know what to say… it's like everyone's (well, except Erik) is getting all grown up. (I do find it comforting, that Erik is actually trying to regress from adulthood by getting out of the whole "homeowner" thing.)
So congratulations Sharon!

Jordo February 21st, 2008

Yes, much congrats to the Sharon!

Indiana is very flats. In someplaces disturbingly flat. I was taken out to this former mining area where there were no trees, I nearly freaked out. It was like something out of a gothic wet dream. Land is not supposed to be like that.

shelly February 21st, 2008

Congrats, Sharon! :D Now, let's see the rock, please!

Tracy February 21st, 2008

Congrats, Sharon!

You will call in every week so Erik will still do the show, right? :-)

Mark February 22nd, 2008

Please excuse my poor spelling, but will Luthian Real take Brand Trilam's last name after the marriage? Or perhaps she'll be Mrs. Real-Trilam?

Seriously, this is very cool. Congrats.

Manic Jordo February 24th, 2008

I'm really diggin' the moby of late. Anyone share my diggage?

Jordo February 24th, 2008

Oh, I'm not longer manic, BTW.

Jordo February 25th, 2008

I'm not longer than Moby either. ? ! ? ! ? Wait, that doesn't sound right? Hey what happened to Random Guy McFly? Did he and the Chrispen Glover reference collide and anihilate each other like matter and antimatter? Does it matter?

George McFly February 26th, 2008

No need to dread
No need to fear
McFly is here
To spread some cheer

So grab a bottle of lemon juice
And put those shoes away

Because today is the mother of all days
And McFly is here to stay

(George now resumes his studies of how bees procreate)

Chemical Erik February 26th, 2008

Not sure if you heard the buzz, McFly, but Sharon may bee interested in your study material when you're done with it.

George McFly February 26th, 2008

Hi Chem Erik,

Thank you for the salutations. Would you be interested in learning about mind-altering New England Clam Chowder and how wool blankets make one itchy?

My thesis is almost complete…

Jordo February 26th, 2008

Isn't New England Clam Chowder is mind altering just by itself?

Maybe we should change your name to Random Gee McBee?

Chemical Erik February 26th, 2008

I prefer Pacific Clams, and I'm familiar with Heismanberg theory of wool itch polarity. If you've advance the wooly polarity theorum, I'd be interested. Otherwise, thanks for the offer.

George McFly February 27th, 2008

How about settling for a shot of ripple?

George McFly February 27th, 2008

It was a sight to behold. Last night, during dinner, I constructed a model of the Egyptian Pyramids using my mashed potatoes!

Christov February 27th, 2008

You've been invited…

George McFly February 27th, 2008

I think someone spiked my milkshake this morning.
