Matthew Paul Turner joined us on SBE this week to talk about growing up in a fundamentalist church and family where even contemporary Christian music was condemned as “of the devil.” His new book, Churched: One Kid's Journey Toward God Despite a Holy Mess, is a funny and painful account of how his faith made it through alive.
Matthew is the author of a bunch of books including The Christian Culture Survival Guide and The Coffeehouse Gospel. He's a former editor of CCM and he blogs at MatthewPaulTurner.com.
