Love & War - John & Stasi Eldredge on SBE

Erik Guzman January 8th, 2010

John and Stasi EldredgeMarriage is fabulously hard. Anyone that tells you any different is lying, and there are plenty of phonies out there.

Join John and Stasi Eldredge on Steve Brown Etc. as they tear down the impossible standard many Christians are presented with. Then they break through the shame and hopeless silence that bogus standard creates and point the way to healing.

The title of John and Stasi's new book is Love & War: Finding the Marriage You've Dreamed Of.

You guys are having too much fun! It is always a treat to listen to this show. The Eldredge's are great folks.

Next time Steve comes to Perimeter, you all have to come and promote the show. Business expense! :-)

Steve, You're the man, dog. Words from the 2000 film Finding Forrester, with Sean Connery. Today I launch at 30-minute show on WTLN-AM 950, entitled Between the Scenes, a redemptive look at films and music and how they've intersected with our lives. Super Bowl Sunday's show with me James D. Less, a radio name derived from the Gospel of Mark, James the Less. I long to get input from both Steve and Eric and John and Stasi. You've got my e-mail address. In a Perfect World (interesting movie John says deeply pierced his heart), I'd be on Steve Brown's show, radio and t.v. being that I came from an alcoholic background and have always enjoyed his straight-forward, take-no-prisoners, freedom's not another word for nothing left to lose approach. It's the template for my show. Que up, Bette Midler's song from the chick flick, Beaches, which I likewise enjoyed: "Have I ever told you my hero?" I used to write for the Christian newspaper, Discovery from 'round 1996 to 2002-04 when Dwight Howard was drafted. I was the sports editor, having covered the Magic since they first came to town back in the late 1980's. Hope to hear from you's guys, as My Cousin Vinny may have said. Happy Trails to you until we meet again!
