Steve,

I want to take issue with something you said in this podcast. You said that Israel had the rougher end of the deal than the Palestinians.

Now I don't know exactly what you mean. If you are meaning that more died in the holocaust than in the current situation, of course nobody can argue with you.

But if you mean anything else, you are demonstratably wrong. Within 2-3 generations, the Palestinians have had most of their land taken from them, have been pushed into refugee camps, have been forced to submit to an country imposed upon them.

Since 2000, far more Palestinians have been killed, put in prison, had their houses demolished and suffered travel restrictions than the Israelis. Whilst suicide bombings were awful, far more Palestinians have been killed in the troubles. The lot of the average Palestinian does not amount to a plate of beans, whereas the average Israeli has a reasonably comfortable existance. On top of that, the Israeli settlers are still building settlements on top of the Palestinians, who are being pushed into smaller and smaller areas.

Few would argue that the struggle for freedom by the Black South Africans was unjust, and I don't really see the difference with the Palestinians. Yes, Israel deserves security. But they are not going to get it whilst they continue to oppress the Palestinians.

Hi Steve,

I have to agree with Tony, Sharon did go to the temple mount and really poured gas on a small burning fire.

I am a Lib Christian like Tony. I have listened to you for years on Key Life. Sorry you are a conservative but every body has to have some sins.

But on a more serious note, the world has been run by Christians for quiet a few years now. It is not the Jews or the Muslims fault that they both behave badly when the Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit do not behave any better. The world today is a reaping of the collected sins of Christians not functioning in the call of Jesus to be the Peacemakers, and following the Sermon on the Mount.

Anyway has a side not the jokes on Steven Brown Ect. not funny for libs but I still listen.

Love you as a bother in Christ. Wish I could debt you myself just for fun. If not here then maybe in heaven. Thats where we fine out who was right in Jesus's eyes libs or cons.
