Tony covers some interesting points here. I'd recommend both The Ordinary Radicals and Another World is Possible, both documentaries that Tony Campolo is featured in.

Tony cited Margaret Mead. You know, don't you, that the young Samoan girl who was Mead's prime informant regarding the sexual promiscuity of her people group was engaged in "recreational lying"? She repented and publicly confessed when she grew old. As a Christian believer, the informant didn't want the lies on her conscience anymore, and had come to understand that she had given Samoa an unjustified reputaion.

See the books of Derek Freeman. His expose, initially dismissed and strongly resisted, is now widely accepted--but not widely enough.

Thanks for the program, Steve and Tony.

All of you are so honest, open and real. Thank you for reminding me that being a Christian can be fun and is not a "perfect" condition. Steve, you and Tony are in my age group. You remind me that being an "old white gal" is not a bad thing to be. Never stop spreading the word in your honest manner.
You might remember me - I am Lorrie Derringer's big sister. Yes, she is very special.
