I love the teachings of Eldredge. He explains so much of the battle that I never really understood before. I have read a few of the writings that he has published and have a new understanding as to why I feel so driven into this war in my life. I am a recovered drug addict and drug dealer. Christ has found me and I have welcomed Him into my life. I have been drug free for over ten months now after 19 years of addiction for the first time in my life. I was raised in an alcoholic family and never really was exposed to the Word of God. I have spent many an hour on top of some mountain or next to some river in the middle of nowhere (everywhere to me) wondering where to find God. He found me in Breckenridge Co. John has been a great inspiration to me in my journey to this point and I look forward to reading more of his writings.

I love John Eldredge the only thing I have read though is Wild at Heart, my church did the video series on that which was cool too. It has had a lot of impact on me, I never knew that it was ok for a "christian" man to be a "Man" Now i'm working on figuring out how to do that. The stuff about the emasculated church is totally true and it is freeing that someone is teaching otherwise. I love the new websight by the way, its like what I do now daily is come here and read everything, and listen to the podcasts all day at work. Thanks
