Great to see this podcast resurrected--and what better film choice could you have made for the first show! I'm looking forward to Pinocchio.

Really happy to hear your podcast again!

Just FYI, as of this posting (3/5) the podcast is not available on the main Watching Theology website.

When I saw 'Shaun of the Dead', I thought of it more as the archetypal hero's journey. Shaun continually refuses to grow up and be transformed and goes on his personal journey of redemption, but the quest then decides to come after him. He loses his family and his best friend undergoes a permanent change, but it ends where his status quo is restored.

Despite his best efforts, Shaun is transformed by his quest. His quest was to restore the world to his old status quo, and he only partially succeeds. The fact the Ed is still a zombie acts as a constant reminder of Shaun's day of heroism and leadership.

Great show! Looking forward to the next one.
