"I'll hold the phones and the wallets."

Erik January 16th, 2008

A guy named Chad (see pic) came over this week to talk with me, Mark, and Mr. Wood about chucking his life in the States and traveling all over the world (over 37 countries) for the past 2 years with something called The World Race.

If you've been listening to our show for a while and you've forgotten what a good Christian sounds like, this program is a nice reminder.

Chad is living a radical life of helping those in need and giving them the hope of the Gospel. Quite the contrast … (Read More)

Truth & Consequences

Erik November 28th, 2007

Check out this edition of [ping] and witness the birth of a new character in the pantheon of podcasting, Erik Solo.

I've never piloted this thing without somebody riding shotgun, so Mark and Jordo called in to keep me company. To stick with the Star Wars imagery, Mark plays the role of Chewbacca and Jordo makes a great C-3PO (fluent in over 6 million forms of communication).

It's Called Guilt!

Steve Brown November 14th, 2007

Do you know why Christians sometimes have a hard time enjoying Thanksgiving?

The Failure We Foster

Erik October 8th, 2007

Guilt and Isolation

Erik August 13th, 2007

When a Christian leader acts as if he or she has a hotline to God and knows all, don't listen to that leader. You'll end up suffering under tremendous guilt. What's more, when you affirm that kind of nonsense in a leader, you subject him or her to a prison where it's impossible to be free.

On this week's Scandalous Freedom Podcast, Steve discusses the plagues of Guilt and Isolation that result from putting people on pedestals.
