Are You Brainwashed? Seven Principles for Free Government

John W. Whitehead February 8th, 2010

Brainwashed in our childhood

Brainwashed by the school…

Brainwashing us in Washington…

Brainwashed by the media…

Brainwashed by computer

Brainwashed by mobile phones

Brainwashed by the satellite

Brainwashed to the bone.

—George Harrison, “Brainwashed”

Precisely because Americans are easily distracted–because, as study after study shows, they are clueless about their rights–and because the nation’s schools have ceased teaching the fundamentals of the Cons … (Read More)

Erik Guzman February 5th, 2010

If you struggle with sexual addiction, you know how hard it can be to come clean about your problems to those closest to you. Clusterfuzzle - Susan Isaacs on SBE

Erik Guzman January 15th, 2010

Anne Lamott says that laughter is the carbonated form of holiness. If that's true, Susan Isaacs is an effervescent, snarky, super-saint.

Join Susan on this week's Steve Brown Etc. as we discuss the tragedy in Haiti, Pat Robertson, and we finally get the answer to the question, "If there's a good God, why does he allow so much pain and suffering?" How's that for comedy?!! Waka waka.

We also talk about Susan's current projects and, in her words, "the c … (Read More)

Over the course of his first year in office, Barack Obama has shown himself to be a skillful and savvy politician, saying the things Americans want to hear while stealthily and inexorably moving forward the government's agenda of centralized power. For example, in one breath, Obama pays lip service to the need for greater transparency in governme … (Read More)
