Avoiding Some Church Troubles

Tony Campolo January 14th, 2008

Every denomination in America is facing the real possibility of schism because of differing views on the place of gays and lesbians in the Church. Almost all churches, including most Fundamentalist churches, are open to homosexuals attending their worship services. A Very SBE Christmas

Erik December 21st, 2007

Steve Brown is a notorious Scrooge. So, on this weekend before Christmas edition of Steve Brown Etc., we had an intervention.

Are you tracking with me? If not (or if you missed any of this great content) here's the order of things.

Red-Letter Christians

Erik November 30th, 2007

When choosing teams, everyone wants Jesus on their side. The Religious Right has been scoring political points with Jesus for years. Red-Letter Christians have responded by focusing on the words of Jesus and trying to portray him as a free political agent.

Tony Campolo says, "We [Red-Letter Christians] are people who want to assure that Jesus is neither defined as a Republican nor a Democrat." But are they actually playing ball with a new team in town…the Religious Left?
